It was a moment of joy and excitement for popular thespian, Liz Da Silva, also known as Tasore So pe, as she unveiled the 5th edition of her A-list event, formerly tagged, Ankara Day, but now  known as Afrikulture Entertainment and Award.

The unveiling which held at Beni Apartments, Victoria Island, Lagos, attracted many colleagues of the talented role interpreter, including Funsho Adeolu, Iyabo Ojo, Fathia Balogun, Dayo Amusa, Bimbo Thomas, Ronke Odusanya, Femi Branch, Ireti Osayemi and others. Also at the occasion was famous comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka (CFR).

Speaking excitedly on the event, Da Silva reiterated her commitment to showcasing African culture in a unique way even beyond the continent of Africa.

“I am so happy seeing a lot of my colleagues around me today showing support for Afrikulture 2016.

Celebration of African culture is something I passionately believe in, and that’s why I keep forging ahead with the initiative.

“This year’s edition coming up on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 is going to be very special. This is because some notable Nigerians and organisations will go home with special awards for their immense contributions to the growth and development of African culture. The event is surely going to be one in town as it will parade dignitaries from different spheres of life.”
